How can I pay for my services?

LCHost accepts the following means of payments for most services:

  • Credit or debit card,
  • Direct Debit,
  • BACS/FPS/CHAPS electronic payments to our bank account,
  • Cheques (in UK Pounds drawn on a UK Bank) - subject to a £25+vat handling fee

Customers who pay by direct debit for services in excess of £100 per month may be entitled to a direct debit discount of 1% unless your quotation was already based on payment by direct debit - please contact sales or your account manager.

Please bear in mind the following leadtimes for payments:

Instant or same day:
Credit/Debit cards
FPS Payments (if your bank supports Faster Payments - these will have replaced the BACS option if they do) - this includes any payments from HSBC/First Direct accounts
CHAPS Payments (your bank will likely charge for this service; so try for FPS or use BACS if timescale is not so important)

2-3 Working days:
Direct Debits take 2-3 days to actually reach us after they are debited from your account (however, we tend to credit you the same day the payment leaves your account)
Old BACS Payments (some banks do not support FPS - notably some banks do not support FPS for commercial accounts)

5-7 Working days (from receipt):
Cheque Payments (though clearance may take longer) whether posted to us or paid over the counter at a HSBC branch
